Attended a wedding reception here, the room and food were lovely. However £5 and £10 notes were not accepted at the bar which is ridiculous, due to fake ones being used. Get a note checker and pen. Very inconvenient for guests.
Attended a wedding here and it was fantastic, staff well brilliant food was amazing, decor lovely. We stayed over the night the room was clean had everything we needed. Will return again

Attended my sister's wedding here yesterday, absolutely everything was on point. The food was great, the decor & setting just perfect for the wedding, the staff were excellent, professional, polite & genuinely made an effort with all of the guests attending. The rooms are comfortable & clean, would definitely recommend

Went for evening meal with my partner. Food served from 5pm but bar open earlier. The location is beautiful, the pub peaceful, warm and inviting and the food amazing . It is also an hotel but did not stay. The food was amazing. My partner had starter of poached chicken. I had beef and bone marrow pie which was so rich and tasty with crispy fluffy chips. my partner had beef ribs which were also delicious along with the creamy mash. For dessert we shared a extra rich sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. It was divine. We had a couple of pints each .total was just shy of £100 but well worth the money.the staff were really attentive and helpful. Really friendly. The pub was lovely and clean and lovely inside. Can't wait to visit again.
Very comfortable room with a separate area for 2 single beds. Nice bath and shower. Arrived late and bar staff helped. Great breakfast. Lots of parking. Lovely view over the moors and church. Wish I could have stayed for hiking
A superb spot for a relaxed Sunday lunch, where dogs are very much welcomed. The food offering is to a very high standard, whilst not the lowest prices, the cost reflects the quality of the produce. All the staff I encountered were excellent and appeared to be very enthusiastic about what they are doing. Cleanliness couldn't be faulted in the public areas.
